St John’s Wort oleate or macerate (Hypericum perforatum), more commonly known as St John’s Wort, is one of the best-known herbal preparations in traditional medicine. It has numerous therapeutic and cosmetic properties, making it an essential item in any household’s natural first-aid kit.

Maceration for 40 days in direct sunlight.

No chemicals, colourings, preservatives or flavourings have been used in its production.

PROPERTIES

– Anti-inflammatory. It reduces muscle pain in athletes, inflamed joints, back pain, etc.

– Menopause and PMS. It supports women’s health by balancing hormones, improving uterine tone, relieving cramps and improving mood.

– Skin-repairing. It has regenerative, healing and soothing properties for the skin. It promotes elastin synthesis, smoothing out wrinkles and fine lines. Its properties have been proven effective on sunburnt, sensitive and dry skin. Very useful for wounds as, in addition to containing tannins that have a restorative effect, it is antibacterial and antiviral.

– Neuralgia. Relieves nerve pain such as trigeminal neuralgia and Bell’s palsy.

– Haemorrhoids. It reduces inflammation, relieves pain and speeds up the healing process.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

This product may cause photosensitivity. Do not apply it to skin that will be exposed to the sun, as it may cause skin discolouration.

It is also not recommended for pregnant women, breastfeeding women or children under the age of 6.
