1. Purpose
This policy governs the involvement of minors in the activities organised by Holística Nature Ecotourism, Training and Wellbeing, S.L. (hereinafter, THE DATA CONTROLLER), including:
- Outdoor trails and activities
- Face-to-face workshops and training courses
- Forest bathing and wellbeing activities
- Yoga sessions
The registration of a minor entails the express acceptance of this policy by their parents or legal guardians.
2. Minimum age for participation
- Each activity can set minimum age or specific requirements.
- Information on the minimum age will be clearly stated in the activity details.
- Minors who do not meet the age requirements will not be permitted to take part.
3. Authorisation and liability
- The involvement of minors requires written authorisation from a parent or legal guardian, which will be provided before the activity begins.
- The tutor agrees to take responsibility for the child throughout the activity, including journeys to and from the meeting point.
- THE DATA CONTROLLER oversees and guides the activity, but responsibility for the minor’s decisions lies with the guardian, within reason.
4. Health and fitness
Tutors must report any medical condition, allergy, medication or special requirement of the child before the activity.
- Participation takes place with full knowledge and acceptance of the inherent risks to the activity.
- Yoga, wellbeing or eco-psychology activities are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
5. Safety
- THE DATA CONTROLLER has Civil Liability insurance and Assistance/Rescue insurance, which also applies to minors.
- Guardians must ensure that the child wears the recommended kit and complies with safety regulations.
- THE DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to exclude any child from the activity who fails to comply with safety regulations or who puts themselves or others at risk.
6. Images and audiovisual material
Photographs or video recordings may be taken during the event.
- The guardian authorises the use of the child’s image for informational or promotional purposes, unless they indicate otherwise in writing before the start of the activity.
7. Cancellations and withdrawal
- Cancellations must be made in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy in force.
- Refunds for paid activities apply equally to minors.
8. Acceptance
The registration of a minor entails the express acceptance of this Policy on the Participation of Minors by the father, mother or legal guardian.
