1. Purpose
This policy governs the involvement of minors in the activities organised by Holística Nature Ecotourism, Training and Wellbeing, S.L. (hereinafter, Holística Nature), including:
- Outdoor trails and activities
- Face-to-face workshops and training courses
- Forest bathing and wellbeing activities
- Yoga sessions
The registration of a minor entails the express acceptance of this policy by their parents or legal guardians.
2. Minimum age for participation
- Each activity can set minimum age or specific requirements.
- Information on the minimum age will be clearly stated in the activity details.
- Minors who do not meet the age requirements will not be permitted to take part.
3. Authorisation and liability
- The involvement of minors requires written authorisation from a parent or legal guardian, which will be provided before the activity begins.
- The tutor agrees to take responsibility for the child throughout the activity, including journeys to and from the meeting point.
- Holística Nature oversees and guides the activity, but responsibility for the minor’s decisions lies with the guardian, within reason.
4. Fitness and wellbeing
The parent or guardian declares that the child is capable of taking part in the activity, given the level of difficulty stated on the activity sheet. We do not request any health information. If there are any circumstances that the guide needs to be aware of to ensure the child’s safety during the activity, the parent or guardian may inform the guide directly at the start; we will not retain this information once the activity has finished.
Yoga, wellbeing and eco-psychology activities are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
5. Safety
- Holística Nature offers Civil Liability insurance and Assistance/Rescue insurance, which also applies to minors.
- Guardians must ensure that the child wears the recommended kit and complies with safety regulations.
- Holística Nature reserves the right to exclude any child from the activity who fails to comply with safety regulations or who puts themselves or others at risk.
6. Images and audiovisual material
We will only use images in which a child appears in a recognisable manner if their parent or guardian expressly consents to this in the written consent form. Without such consent, the child will not appear in any publication. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by writing to info@holisticanature.com.
7. Cancellations and withdrawal
- Cancellations must be made in accordance with the Cancellation and Refund Policy in force.
- Refunds for paid activities apply equally to minors.
8. Acceptance
The registration of a minor entails the express acceptance of this Policy on the Participation of Minors by the father, mother or legal guardian.
