1. Purpose
These terms and conditions govern participation in the activities of Holística Nature Ecotourism, Training and Wellbeing, S.L. (Holística Nature): nature trails and experiences, geotourism, forest bathing, yoga, workshops and face-to-face training courses. By registering for an activity, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
2. Outdoor activities
Many of our activities take place outdoors, in a natural setting. This means we have to contend with the conditions typical of the environment: uneven or slippery ground, changes in elevation, changes in the weather and physical exertion. Each activity’s information sheet states its duration, difficulty and recommended equipment.
3. Declaration of fitness
By registering, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to take part in the chosen activity, in accordance with the level of difficulty stated in its description. We do not ask you for any health details. If you are unsure whether an activity is suitable for you, consult your doctor before signing up.
Yoga, wellbeing practices and ecopsychology are not a substitute for any medical, psychological or physiotherapy treatment.
4. Participant’s commitments
During the activity, you agree to:
- follow the guide’s or trainer’s instructions;
- bring the recommended equipment;
- respect the natural environment and the rules of the protected area;
- act with caution, both towards yourself and the group.
The guide may alter the route, or exclude a participant, where the safety of the group so requires.
5. Insurance
Holística Nature holds third-party liability insurance and assistance and rescue insurance for all its activities.
6. Liability
Holística Nature is liable, in accordance with current legislation, for any damage attributable to it in the organisation and conduct of its activities. It is not liable for damage caused solely by the participant, by failure to follow the guide’s instructions, or by events unrelated to the organised activity.
7. Minors
The participation of minors is governed by the Policy on the participation of minors.
8. Photographs and videos
We take photographs and videos during our activities: this is our way of sharing our experiences in the region and reaching out to others. We will only use images in which you are recognisable if you give us your consent when you register. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@holisticanature.com.
