For 20 years, we have been committed to improving collective wellbeing through approaches that foster a connection between body, mind and nature. Drawing on our multidisciplinary background, both personal and professional, we have provided services both in person and online at local, regional, national and international levels

We began our professional careers in yoga and natural therapies independently before joining forces. I, Helena Chacón, the author of this text, have been working with gyms and associations since 2006, whilst Javier began teaching yoga in the countryside in 2008 – an experience that inspired him to set up his own business. In 2009, I met Javier and joined his project to set up a centre for yoga, therapies and massage in Huelva city, which we ran together until 2019.

Here, we have hosted hundreds of yoga classes, courses, workshops, training programmes and so on, as well as natural therapy services and social events that have strengthened the community

Over the years, we have travelled on numerous occasions to India, Thailand and Indonesia to further our knowledge of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, AcroYoga, Pranayama, Ayurveda and Thai massage, amongst other disciplines. We have also sourced minerals and yoga equipment for our shop.

We organised tourist trips to India and Bali that combined yoga and natural therapies, offering our clients unique and unforgettable experiences.

Longing for a life more in tune with nature, we decided to move to the Sierra de Huelva, specifically to Jabuguillo, a hamlet of Aracena, at a time when our yoga centre was at its peak. At that stage, we focused our professional careers on delivering face-to-face yoga training courses both nationally and internationally, as well as online courses.

The pandemic accelerated the development of our online learning platform, which was already underway, enabling us to connect with clients from all over the world. This led to the creation of Holística Formación, the platform where we now offer all our online courses

Alongside the development of our online learning platform, we carried out initiatives to improve the wellbeing of the local community in the region where we lived. These included wellbeing workshops, retreats and activities designed to foster a connection with nature

After four years in the Sierra de Huelva, we embarked on an ecotourism project that enabled us to offer in-person activities. We moved to San Vicente de Alcántara (Badajoz), to a farmstead we named Kalki. There, we built a 50 m² yurt, which for three years served as a venue for classes, workshops, therapies and training courses. In this setting, we deepened our understanding of nature, permaculture, rural life and sustainability. We also shared experiences such as seasonal celebrations, forest bathing, nature walks, active meditation and social gatherings, strengthening our connection with the community and the environment.

In 2024, we felt the need for a fresh change in our lives. After much thought, we decided to return to the Sierra de Huelva. In July 2025, we moved to Navahermosa (Galaroza), where we will refurbish a space to serve as an activity room for our indoor sessions, which will complement outdoor activities in this beautiful natural setting, as well as our extensive online programme.

We are an active tourism company specialising in yoga and nature connection. Our projects combine personal development with the enjoyment and appreciation of the biological and geological diversity that this region has to offer.
